Thailand weather – chilly climate at higher altitudes

It is always considered better to pack your bags with suitable clothing and attire as the Thailand weather can change anytime in a year. This may bring some cold air, dry air, sunny days and monsoon just within the interval of few days or weeks. That is why it is suggested to take along with you, every type of cloths given you are planning to visit Thailand for a long duration of time. It almost solely depends on the traveling or holiday season when you are visiting this place how the climate will periodically change. Since the average climate of Thailand may be considered tropical, it is quite possible that frequent rains and hot waves may visit your residing area. It can further be easily understood that majority of the parts experience hot, humid and tropical climate. Thailand North comprise of mainly three seasons while the southern part consists of two seasons, categorized specifically. Hence, we find that Thailand weather rarely show stability!
In the southern region, two seasons comprise of wet and dry that does not run the same on both the sides. The west coast receives rain by southwest winds and storms are also accompanied right from April to October. On the other hand, the east coast receives rainfall mainly in the months from September to December. The average Thailand weather can be understood quite beneficial and supporting for the visiting purpose ranging from November to February. In these months, cold air blows and the dry air gives you enough respite from excess heat. It should also be clearly mentioned that the nights of Thailand may be quite chilly and the temperature may fall within the freezing point limit at higher altitudes.
During this cool visiting season, Thailand weather witnesses a temperature range of 18-32 degrees centigrade in Bangkok.
